CLPA – PumpkinPalooza – October 7 – 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Come join in the fall fun with Cleveland Prep, your neighborhood tuition-free, public charter school! Enjoy a caramel apple and fall festivities. We will be giving out mini pumpkins with carving kits for your family to enjoy! While you are here, you can learn more about our school and meet the staff! Social distancing guidelines will be followed during this event.
NO SCHOOL – COLUMBUS DAY – Monday, October 12, 2020
School will be closed for students and staff in observance of our national holiday Columbus Day.
Assessment Testing – (AIR Mock Assessments and 3rd Grade AIR Test)
Assessment Testing such as Mock AIR Assessments (3-8) and 3rd Reading Guarantee will be occurring during the month of October. Because of the testing, we will ensure a healthy balance of testing and instruction occurs.
Dates are:
Mock AIR Assessments (Grades 3 – 8)– Week of Oct 5
3RD GRADE AIR Test – Week of Oct 19 – 21
NO SCHOOL – Parent Teacher Conferences: Friday, October 23 – TBA
*may be subjected to changed due to COVID school protocols*
Please schedule a meeting with your scholar’s teacher. This will be a great opportunity to become more aware and communicate your scholar’s social and academic experience in their classrooms.
Quarter I Report Cards Mailed home: Monday, October 26
Quarter I will be closing on October 22 and report cards will be mailed home on Monday, October 26.
Teacher In-Service Day: NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 26
In order to help continue to develop and grow our teachers and leaders, we will be having a Teacher In-Service Day. This day will allow for our staff to attend professional developments, workshops and training. There is no school for all students.
School Specific Safety Information:
- The key priority will be the safety and well-being of all students and staff members at CLPA
- We will be practicing social distancing measures in all areas of the building including the classrooms
- Face mask coverings are required for all people in the building
- Hand washing and sanitizing routines for all people in the building
- Maintenance cleaning in all areas of the building
