Greetings CLPA Family,
I’m Robert Williams, your Principal at Cleveland Preparatory Academy. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you and your scholars. Our goal is to work collaboratively with you and your scholars to prepare them with the necessary life and academic skills for success leading to the next grade level and beyond. We expect our scholars to have a 100% positive attitude, behavior, and relentless effort all of the time, inside and outside of the classroom.
With the dawn of the new school year, the leadership team is excited about the renewed opportunities to cultivate an ethos of progress, collaborative transparency, hard work, greater family, student and staff support, and teamwork while improving the lives and futures of our scholars. We are confident in all of our skills, creativity, and expertise as educators and professionals.
We are thankful to have such devoted, prepared community members along with our talented staff. CLPA is a wonderful place to work and we appreciate the dedication and enthusiasm our community brings. Together we know we will continue to improve our service to our families and scholars.
Community schools offer an alternative to the local public school. They are free and open to all students and focused on meeting student needs for success. Community schools are among the top-performing schools in the nation.
Our educational approach has five principles at its core. These principles provide a strong foundation for learning and include: 1) Individualized learning plan for all scholars, 2) High expectations for student achievement, 3) Safe and secure learning environment, 4) Integrated technology to advance achievement, 5) Collaborative relationships with parents and community members.
